The Lac campsite is 3km from Foix town center, so you can visit Foix castle, which is one of the major tourist sites in Ariège.
We are also 10 minutes from the underground river of Labouiche (visit by boat without reservation).
For family bike rides, near the campsite you will find the greenway which runs from Foix to St Girons (42 km in total).
To rediscover the trades of yesteryear, be sure to visit the pyrenes forges 10 minutes from the campsite, a reconstruction of an ancient village with various living workshops retracing the activities and gestures of 19th and 20th century craftsmen.
The geographical location of Foix is ideal because you can enjoy both the activities and services of a city center offering different cultural events and quick access to the Haute Ariège in order to visit the various caves such as Niaux and Lombrives or so hiking outings to discover the mountain pastures and the beautiful ars waterfall.

Our services
- Aquatic areas : the aquatic area includes an unheated outdoor pool open from 15/06 to 15/09 with a pool of 1 1.10m to 1.80m deep. Toddlers can enjoy the paddling pool 2m by 2m and 0.35m deep. You will find sunbathing in the aquatic area to fully enjoy the sun.You can now enjoy a relaxation area with whirlpool baths ( 1.1m deep).See more
- Animations : We offer entertainment in the evening (from 07/07 to 24/08), you can come to see concerts, participate in lotto, dance with family for our dance party. During the day we organize a petanque contest per week. See more

- Premium service: We can deliver directly at your location bread and pastries every morning between 8h and 8h30 if your order the day before at the reception.We can propose also beds made before your arrival ( cost 30€)
